SCCR28 Day 1 Rules for Informal

Before leaving for room B with the head of the regional groups the Chair announced the schedule and the rules:

CHAIR: We are ready to move to an informal format. So we can break immediately to move to room B. And the plenary would reconvene. Since we don’t have an idea of how the work is going to be developed in the room B format, we are not in condition to say that we can re initiate the plenary tomorrow morning. So we will let you know, and you will realize how the work is ongoing through this facilities that we will have here to listen that kind of work.
Secretariat will announce us how to be aware of the reconvening of the plenary and some warnings related to transparency.

SECRETARIAT: Thank you, Chair. With respect to reconvening the plenary, we will have signs on the notice boards indicating the time as soon as we know it. We will also contact all the regional coordinators and ask them to pass the information on to their groups.

With respect to what we call the ground rules for having the sound in room A, while the informals are going on in room B, I want to read the statement that clarifies the situation.

To ensure that the integrity and informality of the informal group is maintained, delegations and observers are requested to refrain from communicating to the public, whether live or at any future time, the content or nature of the discussions taking place in this smaller group, whether in general terms or by way of quoting specific individuals or delegations.

This includes but is not limited to tweeting, blog posts, news stories, and postings on listservs.
So overall, you may recognize that language from the IGC.
