TRIPS flexibilities and national patent laws

Dear KEI,

My name is Nitsan Chorev and I'm a professor or sociology at Brown University. I am working on a project on access to medicines and the role of national patent policies (starting in South Africa, Brazil, Thailand and spreading elsewhere)in leading to the Doha Declaration before 2001 and possibly trying to strengthen countries' flexibilities also after.

I am looking for something that I'm not sure even exists: a relatively updated list of as many countries in the world as possible, and their policies regarding compulsory licensing, parallel import, and other related issues. I am familiar, of course, with the data posted on the CPTech website and this website, but I was wondering if you have created or know of someone else who has created a systematic data-set of countries' implementation of TRIPS.

I will be extremely grateful if you could respond to this request!

All the best,

Nitsan Chorev, PhD
