The Special 301 Subcommittee of the Trade Policy Staff Committee has sent a document with questions to everyone who provided comments on the Special 301 list. The questions are attached and are also available at https://www.regulations.gov/comment/USTR-2021-0021-0065.
The deadline to submit responses is March 8, 2022. “The written question and written response process this year is in lieu of the public hearing, which is not being held due to the COVID‐19 pandemic.”
One nice aspect of this approach is that every group can see the questions submitted for everyone else. Only problem for me is that the USTR quoted a sentence with a stupid typo on our submission, but that’s on me.
